The Sir Isaac’s Apple observer application for iPad is part of a set of tools for a new generation of scientists to observe the world.

The Isaac’s Apple system of applications is used to observe and record measurements from the sensors embedded in our smart devices. There are many interesting experiments in science and physics that become possible using the accelerometers, magnetometers, gyroscopes, and other sensors embedded in our phones and tablets.

The Isaac’s Apple observer application for iPad can display and record measurements from a number of different sources. See real time graphs of the sensor readings and save measurements to a file. Use the iPad’s built in accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetic sensors, or connect to a remote device and view the sensor data on your iPad. The iPad observer application can connect to a smart phone running the Isaacs Apple app using Wi-Fi, or to a Broadcom WICED sense device using Bluetooth.

With this version of the application, you can also open and view any experiment files shared online from the Isaac’s Apple - Teacher’s Version. The Teacher’s Version allows you to sync your experiments online to share with any user of this version of the program. The Teacher’s Version also allows you to download your experiment files to your PC and convert into .CSV files for use in a spreadsheet.
